These terms and conditions are set to protect both our customers and haircolours.com.au. By using our website, you confirm your agreement to these terms. These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through our website and form the basis of the contract between you (“the Customer”) and haircolours.com.au. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Australian law.
Customer Eligibility
Ordering Process
You must create an account to place orders on haircolours.com.au. Once you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment email. However, this does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to reject orders at our discretion. If we cancel your order, we will provide a full refund.
Payment Terms
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and direct debit. Payment is required at the time of order placement. Once the payment has been processed and accepted, the contract for sale is formed between you and haircolours.com.au.
Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided during the checkout process, but these are estimates only. We are not responsible for any delays caused by third-party delivery services. You are required to inspect the goods upon delivery and report any damages or discrepancies within 3 business days.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled. Any cancellations after dispatch will be treated as returns. Change of mind returns may incur a restocking fee, and the customer will bear the return shipping costs.
Returns & Warranty
We accept returns on faulty products in accordance with Australian consumer law. Non-faulty goods must be returned in original packaging and condition within 14 days of receipt. Certain products, such as hair dyes, opened cosmetics, and personal care items, are non-returnable due to health regulations.
Important Note:Due to restrictions in return postage of Dangerous Goods, Peroxide, Bleach and other items deemed as dangerous goods in nature, are unable to returned via post, and thus are non-refundable (unless items are faulty, damaged or do not match the product description)
Change of Mind Returns
You can exchange, refund, or get store credit for items you change your mind about, as long as they’re unopened, unused, and in their original condition with all packaging, cellophane, and tamper-proof seals intact. You’ll need to pay for return shipping.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the item, minus shipping costs and a 10% handling fee. If your original order had no shipping cost, a minimum fee of $6.50 applies for items under 2kg, or $10 for items over 2kg.
We don’t offer change-of-mind returns for discontinued or clearance items.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your parcel arrives damaged or leaking, please:

Take a photo of the parcel.

Refuse delivery from the courier.

Email the photo to [email protected] for instructions and a resolution.
If you receive a faulty item:

Do not use it.

Take a photo of the fault, damage, or leak.

Email us at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with the photo, a detailed description, and your order number.
Without a photo, we cannot guarantee a resolution.
Incorrect or Missing Products
If you receive the wrong item or are missing an item from your order:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected].

Provide a description or photo of the incorrect/missing item and your order number.
We may require you to return the incorrect item before processing a replacement or refund. We’ll cover return shipping costs by providing either:

A print-at-home return label, or
-
A print-at-post-office return label for easy drop-off.
Please check your order upon delivery to ensure all items are correct. If you open or use an incorrect item, we cannot offer a refund or replacement, even if we sent the wrong item.
Limitation of Liability
haircolours.com.au will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
