Wella Colour Touch is a professional demi-permanent hair colour designed to provide vibrant, multi-dimensional colour with high shine and excellent grey blending. It is an ammonia-free formula that delivers rich colour results while helping maintain the natural condition of the hair. Colour Touch is ideal for refreshing existing colour, toning, colour correction, blending grey hair, or trying a new shade without the commitment of permanent colour.

Wella Color Touch Instructions

Mixing Recommendations:

1 tube of Color Touch is sufficient for 2-3 applications.
Always mix Color Touch with Color Touch Emulsion.
Always mix at a ratio of 1 + 2, e.g. 30ml Color Touch + 60ml Color Touch Emulsion.
Mix in a non metallic bowl or use the Color Touch Application Flask.
Color Touch must not be mixed with products from other ranges (such as Color Touch Relights or Koleston Perfect Me).

Application:

Wear suitable gloves.
We recommend that the mixture be applied using bowl and brush.
For fast application, the Color Touch Application Flask can be used.
Apply the Color Touch mixture to pre-shampooed, towel-dried hair evenly from roots to ends.
Tip: For longer lasting, more intensive results, you can also apply the mixture directly on to dry hair (taking in consideration hair type).

Development Time:

20 minutes without heat
15 minutes with added heat
Reduce by 5 minutes after a perm or straightening.

Regrowth Application:

On visible regrowth apply to root area first.

IF COLOUR REFRESHING OF LENGTHS AND ENDS IS REQUIRED

Apply colour mixture to lengths and end of the hair.
Leave for further 5 minutes.

Rinsing and After Care:

When development time is complete, add a little warm water, gently emulsify and rinse thoroughly.

To neutralize oxidation residues and stabilize colour, we recommend SP Color Save Emulsion.
To maintain the hair and scalp in the best possible condition, choose from either the System Professional or Wella Professionals Care ranges of cleansing and conditioning products.

Colour Touch vs. Koleston Perfect ME+: Koleston Perfect is Wella’s permanent colour — it lifts, covers grey fully, and lasts until the hair grows out. Colour Touch is demi-permanent, meaning it fades gradually over 24 shampoos and contains no ammonia (outside of Plus). Choose Colour Touch when you want a tonal refresh, glossing, or a commitment-free colour change. Choose Koleston when you need full grey coverage or a significant lift.
Colour Touch vs. Illumina Color: Illumina Color is a permanent colour focused on maximum shine and luminosity, particularly on fine or delicate hair. Colour Touch delivers similar shine results but without the permanence, making it ideal for toning lightened hair or refreshing ends between permanent colour services.
Colour Touch vs. Shinefinity: Shinefinity is Wella’s zero-lift gloss, designed purely for toning and shine — it cannot cover grey and works best on pre-lightened or natural hair.
